THE
TEAM
|
 |
 |

The collaborative work done by Olivier
Juillerat,
Stéphane Gallis, a confirmed pilot and an
adviser, and Philippe Bezer, the manager of d'AES-Unisson,
a fanatic who’s already supported such prestigious
teams as DAP Moto 91 and GMT
94, made a dream a reality:
the Société ACTION BIKE RACING.

The team’s
aim is to help young pilots with a strong potential
to improve, by offering them a strong and effective
support.

The team gathered during
the first trials in Lédenon. Jean-Marc
Adam, the tuner (on the right), Olivier
Juillerat,
the manager (3rd from the right.), Stéphane
Gallis, the pilot advisor (3rd from the left),
and Christian Chaplin, a renowned specialist,
who is in charge of the team’s preparation
of suspensions.
|
The team is first and foremost made
of experienced staff members:
- Olivier Juillerat, the
manager, has brought along their experience in
corporate management from the start.
- Stéphane Gallis, a former pilot in the French
team in the 250 European Championship is team manager
in the Promosport team and technical advisor for
both teams’ pilots.
- José Kuhn, a former GP 500 pilot (he replaced
Freddy Spencer in 1993), is the physical trainer.
He’s already started wearing down our new recruits.
- Alain Mébrouk, personal trainer in the Lotus
MBK DN1 espoirs Equipe team managed by LUC LEBLANC,
world champion in 1994, brings us the professionalism
of bicycle racing, and will be helping José with
physical training. He will be dietician and massage
therapist for the team.
- Jean-Marc Adam, is famous for having founded and
managed the DAP team for almost 20 years, and for
having customarily achieved excellent results with
limited means. He is the technical manager and he
has brought in his skills, his professionalism and
his great experience in mechanical preparation and
setting adjustments.
|
|
In order to make the best of this
high-level crew, the ACTION BIKE RACING team
has given itself the means to achieve its ambitions:
-
Headquarters based in Saint-Geoire-en-Valdaine-Isère 38, in the same building where the Moto 38 Endurance
team is located, and where Jean-Marc sets up and
spruces the pilots’ 8 Suzukis.
- A semi-trailer/workshop dedicated to the comfort
of the crew and with sufficient advertising space
to allow for top sponsor visibility.
- A hospitality space with a team dedicated to welcoming
partners and their clients.
|
|
The money and effort we have engaged
in this enterprise just shows how ambitious we are. ACTION
BIKE RACING is aiming for the podium in the “Coupe
de France Promosport 600”. As to endurance,
2007 will be a run-in year but we can realistically
expect to be ranked in the top 10, or even in the
top 5. |
